ALS pursues a Quality Policy focused on the commitment to the needs and expectations of customers, with the legal and regulatory requirements, guiding the company in the continuous improvement of its processes, products and services, considering the thought based on risk and facing the maintenance of the effectiveness of its Quality Management System as a tool in achieving the quality objectives defined. The activity of ALS in the production of devices in the production unit, namely medical devices for in vitro diagnosis and reagents for exclusive use in research, is governed by the following principles:

• To make the company an important point of transfer of R&D technology and knowledge to the national and international molecular diagnostics market;

• To offer customers design, development, validation and production services that meet agreed requirements, adding value to the molecular diagnostics sector;

• Demonstrate compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements;

• Continuously maintain the effectiveness of the Quality Management System implemented in accordance with NP EN ISO 13485 and NP EN ISO 9001, according to a risk-based approach.

The Top Management undertakes to ensure compliance with the Quality Policy thus established, and its periodic updating in view of the changing needs of ALS and its external environment. It also undertakes to implement systematic management practices, complying with all normative, legal and regulatory requirements, as well as good practices, leading to customer satisfaction, with particular attention to the continuous improvement of organisational processes and to maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality Management System. This Quality Policy is transmitted to all employees, suppliers and partners, and is published on the ALS institutional website, in order to develop a culture and awareness of Quality.
